Process of Divine Consciousness:Â
The Akashic Records are explained as a flow of dynamic energy within divine consciousness.
The Akashic Records are not tangible; they are intangible and, thus, best understood from an energetic point of view.
Let me explain.
Within most religions is a sacred manuscript which describes the wisdom tradition embraced by believers.
This is where misunderstandings about the Akashic Records arise because there is no primary source which definitively explains origin, purpose, or action.
When something is unclear, comparisons and metaphors offer a connection for understanding.
This is like that.
This acts like that.
This looks like that.
This reads like that.
To explain the hard-to-grasp, as awareness of the Akashic Records moved into modern thought, they were linked in the mid-1800s with the then well-known religious concept of the Book of Life.
The Book of Life, described in three major religious manuscripts of the Quran, the Torah, and the Bible, first appears in human history in the Sumerian civilization as the Tablets of Destiny.
At the beginning of the year, the Sumerians believed that the gods wrote down on tablets the lot in life for all humans for the coming year.
The Book of Life absorbed this perspective and expanded influence and direction for all as a recording of the allotted fate and destiny of humanity as well as the deeds of human lives.
The Book of Life is then used to render a decision on the goodness of a human life on the day of final judgment.
Interestingly, this remembrance of God and the recording of deeds is also observed within other spiritual and religious beliefs such as the weighing of the heart in Egyptian mythology, the Fates of ancient Greece, and Chitra Gupta, as scribe to Yama, the God of Death in India – to name a few.
Books and libraries are easy-to-understand concepts.
Relying on this simplicity is understandable.
As a heavenly book which records the story of a person’s life, the Akashic Records become an enticing source for the right answer.
Open a book, get an answer.
Done.
Yet, many forget that the Book of Life is but a metaphor to explain what is both unexplainable and unproveable.
The metaphor begins to break down both within factual questioning and literal reasoning.
How does this recording happen? Where are all those books kept? If the past, present, and future is already recorded, how is life not pre-determined?
However, taken as a metaphor, the book in a library points to a deeper possibility: The Akashic Records are a flow of energy from spiritual to physical.
The Akashic Records emerge from that which is transcendent, beyond human description and understanding, to flow into human consciousness.
The Akashic Records are dynamic, of the infinite and eternal, flowing into linear, static, physical space.
Said another way, the Akashic Records flow from divine source and transcendent awareness into the consciousness of physical reality to follow the same path of awareness as humans undertake in manifesting soul within a human body.
As a flow of energy, the Akashic Records can be understood as spiritual revelation instead of a physical thing or location.
In understanding the Akashic Records as energetic flow, the door is open to seeing the Akashic Records as a process rather than a tangible product.
Often confused as being a book in a heavenly library, instead:
The Akashic Records are explained as a flow of dynamic energy.
